Immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of life captured through the lens of street photography. From bustling street vendors and musicians filling the air with melody to the stoic beauty of historic buildings and the ephemeral art installations dotted around — this event is a comprehensive expedition into the heart of urban storytelling.

At the core of street photography lies the power of observation, a skill that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. We offer simple, yet effective methods to hone this ability, enabling you to 'see' the world in a detail that breathes life into your photographs. The event becomes even more rewarding as you learn to engage with subjects, capturing their essence through a lens as they willingly share their stories in a single frame.

Not only will you enhance your observational skills, but we also delve into the technical aspects of street photography. Covering topics such as optimal camera settings, focusing techniques, and selecting the ideal lens, our aim is to equip you with the knowledge to seize those fleeting moments that street photography is celebrated for. Join us, and let's embark on a journey where every click of the camera narrates a unique story from the streets.

Do you gaze up at the night sky with wonder? What about looking up at the stars and thinking, how old that light you are seeing is? Maybe you watch as day and night morph into one, and the stars come out to play.

This meetup is going to cover off everything you need to know to start capturing amazing single shot astrophotography and a few extra bits of helpful advice. The learnt basics of capturing a single frame will form the building blocks of your astrophotography journey. Think of this meetup as your first step on that journey or for those who have already started, maybe a road sign.

Astrophotography looks amazing and packs a real punch, however, you do not need to spend a fortune to partake. Does gear make a difference, the simple answer is yes, but it is not the deciding factor when it comes to astrophotography. This meetup will look at planning your session, camera settings, required equipment. I want this meetup to help you maximise your current gear as your start capturing milky way shots.

It was really good that it was a small group and that whilst we spent some time talking through the principles and being shown some good examples, much of the session was actually trying it in practice with on-hand advice to discuss photo options and approaches, and provide valuable advice on even on past photos as to how one could have improved it, which was very helpful

Everyone calls Mark, Happy Bob (misspent youth!) and he's a 20-year plus multi award-winning photographer and videographer, based in Peterborough, UK 2013 although he travels all over the county and to destinations if needed.

He tends to do a lot of wedding photography and editorial, but I also does other work such as corporate, events dog and horse photography and families. He loves street photography too, but he rarely gets a chance to indulge his passion.

On My recent trip to Wicken Fen I crossed over to Burwell Fen which is next to it.I originally went to see the Short Eared Owls but no joy sadly, then I saw this herd of Konik Ponies with the moody sky and with a good subject matter and composure I thought it would make a lovely photo.Konik ponies have been introduced to Wicken Fen Nature Reserve in Cambridgeshire. I'm a big cycling fan and wanted to try some action shots at a cycling race so headed to Lincoln for the annual Lincoln GP sponsored by Rapha. I took this photo while standing on a corner, getting the rider in focus and panning as they came past. I took the shot as they were about 90? to me. As this was a reasonably fast part of the course I managed to capture the rider in focus but got the background blur to highlight the movement. No editing on this one, just a crop so the rider was full in t
